DaWinKS Co., Ltd. (CEO Jong-Myung Lee), a company specializing in blockchain fintech, announced that it has signed a technology investment contract with LACENTRAL S.A. (CEO: Fernando I. Patiño Carrasco) of Nicaragua in Latin America for operation of Nicaragua’s first digital bank and cryptocurrency exchange.

LACENTRAL will install and operate a DTM (Digital autoTeller Machine) and QR Pay system locally by installing the ‘DPEC Platform/DP’ solution supplied by DaWinKS. After signing a business agreement between the two companies through ZOOM on the 10th December of last year at the request of LACENTRAL, Lee visited the country on the 27th and completed the signing of this contract after three days of long negotiations.

LACENTRAL is the first fintech company to obtain a digital bank license including crypto asset handling from the Nicaraguan government in September last year and is officially registered with the Central Bank (BCN/Banco Central de Nicaragua). It aims for digital bank GRAND OPEN in September of this year after conducting a pilot operation of DTM and QR Pay in May.
