According to this, in a survey commissioned by the Future of Tech Commission, a bipartisan independent organization in the United States, 80% of the respondents said the federal government should "do everything it needs to do to curb the influence of Big Tech."
In addition, 84% of respondents said they were very worried about the influence of social media on children.
As of the end of July, the survey was conducted on 2,16 of the registered voters in the United States.
Respondents who participated in the survey cited privacy protection and strengthening Big Tech responsibility as the biggest policy priority.
However, 54% of the respondents expressed a negative view on the issue of Big Tech's dismantling, saying, "It could threaten the engine of innovation and growth."
