“DaWinKS participates in Korea-CABEI cooperation forum"

DaWinKS Co., Ltd. (CEO: Jong-myung Lee) was invited as a speaker for the 'Korea-Central America ICT Cooperation' session of the second part of the 2022 Korea-CABEI Cooperation Forum held at the Grand Volume of the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido on July 11th and presented the top of "Korea’s BLOCKCHAIN TECHFIN advances into Central and South America_ Nicaragua's first digital bank platform."

CABEI (Central American Bank for Economic Integration) is a regional multilateral development bank that provides the most funds for infrastructure investment in Central America. Korea joined as the 15th member in December 2019 and participates as a permanent board member. At the same time, Korea jointly promotes economic cooperation between Korea and Central America with the help of the EDCF cooperative loan and the Korea-CABEI cooperation fund.

DaWinKS supports foreign currency exchange, overseas remittance, and electronic money charging services through digital ATM/DTM. The company is working on untact KYC (Know Your Customer/identity authentication) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering), which were installed and operated at the Seomyeon Financial Center of Accuon Savings Bank in Busan, a blockchain special zone in December of last year. It marked the first case of collaboration between a domestic financial institution and a fintech company.

With DaWinKS's core technology for detection of forgery • falsification of Korean ID cards and passports around the world and AI facial recognition, it is recognized by financial institutions and companies around the world as well as in Korea. It has advanced untact KYC by combining global passport recognition and face authentication, which are essential for global markets, and provides foreign currency exchange services for 80 kinds of legal currencies from16 countries through DTM for foreigners who frequently visit Korea.

DaWinKS has been recognized for its excellent technology and built a comprehensive platform with DaWin technology's electronic wallet, digital ATM/DTM, and QR Payment POS for Nicaragua's first digital bank in Latin America (LACENTRAL, S.A.), which is expected to open this year officially.

The company's aggressive move toward global market entry includes a theme presentation at the Korea-El Salvador Crypto Distribution and Blockchain Excellent Technology Companies Seminar hosted by the El Salvador Economic Ministry, the Foreign Ministry, the Embassy of
El Salvador in Korea, and the KMAC Global Knowledge Cooperation Complex under the Ministry of Strategy and Finance in April, and recently presentation at the Korea-CABEI Cooperation Forum, and active consultation with local partners to advance into the U.S., India, Japan, Dubai, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Congo, and Seychelles.
