The People and Global Business Association(P&GBA) announced that it will hold the 2020 International Junior Business Conference (WCBM JAC) at the same time as the World Management Association (WCBM) in a non-face-to-face manner due to the COVID-19 concerns.

"This junior management competition is aimed at providing middle and high school/college students with opportunities to develop creative and innovative ideas and develop academic writing and presentation skills," an association official said. "It will be an opportunity to show the research and academic presentation skills of students who want to pursue business administration and social science."

The event will be held online under the theme of "Recovering the global cultural activities from the COVID-19."

The online competition is expected to offer a new breakthrough in the academic field, as the prolonged COVID-19 crisis worldwide is creating a negative impact on academic research as well as on individual life

The subject of the competition's thesis is presented as special topics such as "people-centered corporate management and cultural management," but applicants are free to choose from "management/economics/financial fields."

Applicants can submit their research plans by the 19th of this month, and if they pass, they can submit their full papers and presentation videos online by the 26th of July to http://wcbm.pngba.org.

The selected excellent papers will be published in the WCBM dissertation book and students will have the opportunity to grow further in a network of connections with outstanding scholars.

The association predicted that the non-face-to-face competition will allow the latest research achievements to be announced and shared online, which will serve as an opportunity for more people to pay attention and utilize their research achievements.
