PARK BO GUM Confirms Starring In 'Seo Bok' And In Role Of World’s First Human Clone

Actor Park Bo Gum confirmed being casted in movie ‘Seo Bok’ (provisional title).

 

The distributor CJ Entertainment announced on 4 March the news on confirmation of Park Bo Gum to star in ‘Seo Bok’. 'Seo Bok' is the one Park Bo Gum chose right after ‘Encounter’, the sensational tvN TV series, and which brings back him on screen 4 years after the movie ‘Coin Locker Girl’.

 

'Seo Bok' (provisional title) is the a story of Ki Hun, a former intelligence officer with upcoming death (played by Gong Yoo), who gets caught in dangerous situation with Seo Bok (played by Park Bo Gum), the world’s first human clone holding the secret of eternal life and who is chased by different parties wanting to get hold of him.

 

In ‘Seo Bok’ (provisional title), Park Bo Gum plays the role of Seo Bok, world’s first human clone holding the secret of eternal life. The role of Seo Bok further gathers especial attention, since this is the first time a human clone is tried as a movie material in the Korean cinema history.
 

The reasons for looking forward to see Park Bo Gum challenging such special character role include that it is a character and a story created by director Lee Yong Ju. The director Lee Yong Ju has successfully received many positive reviews from both the audience and critics, with his detailed directing talent shown in the movies ‘Living Death' and 'Architecture 101'. The expectation for this new challenge and unique soty of 'Seo Bok' (provisional title) to be introduced by director Lee Yong Ju and Park Bo Gum is rising.

 

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo has previously confirmed of his casting in ‘Seo Bok’ (provisional title) as Ki Hun, a former intelligence officer of the NIS with upcoming death.

 

'Seo Bok' (provisional title) is scheduled to start filming in April 2019.
