DaWinKS, a Korean fintech company with the best technology in ID card and passport forgery detection KYC and a dream of "completely changing the world's payment market", and DaFIN, a Singapore-based global digital asset fintech company and a dream of "connecting all values of the world", signed an MOU for cooperation in FinTech services with DaWinKS' digital ATM-based financial platform on 3 June.

DaWinKS has developed ID cards, passport forgery detection, and adult authentication-related technologies over the past 16 years and is recognized for its technology by combo scanner currently being used in about 650 places such as airports, duty-free shops, government agencies, casinos, and currency exchange dealers. In the past three years, it has developed a platform for payment, settlement, remittance, currency exchange, and charging based on blockchain to complete ATMs and POSs that will implement digital (crypto) financial services.

With this agreement between DaWinKS and DaFIN, it is possible to deposit and withdraw DAF tokens from digital ATMs developed by DaWinKS. In addition, it is expected that payment for DAF tokens will be possible through the POS system linked to DaWinKS ATM. In addition, DaWinKS and DaFIN decided to jointly plan DeFi and NFT projects using ATM platforms.

Lee Jong-Myung, CEO of DaWinKS, said, "To reach DaWinKS' dream of completely changing the world's payment market, we will establish ourselves as a financial platform that links online and offline based on digital ATMs and POSs that we've developed. In addition, DaFIN's CSO Lee, Jun-Ho, general manager, said, "The partnership with DaWinKS is significant in that it is a combination of digital asset's online/offline fintech services. Amid the rapid growth of the global digital asset ATM market, DaFIN service will be expanded through a partnership with an ATM developer that incorporates Korea's unique offline KYC patented technology. In particular, the DAF, which is positioned as a connection value in the premium metaverse market, is connected to digital ATMs, allowing offline purchases and auctions by linking with POS for direct purchase of digital assetized premium spot."

Currently, 20,972 crypto ATMs are installed globally (as of 06/03/2021), but not one is installed in Korea yet. This is due to regulation and lack of technology. DaWinKS, which acquired KYC fintech technology and blockchain-based CRYPTO ATM & POS operation certification through application for ICT regulatory sandbox last year, has signed a legal currency-based digital ATM operation agreement with ABC Savings Bank. In the second half of the year, for the first time in the financial sector, we will provide customer services for foreign currency exchange and overseas remittance through digital ATMs using untact technology. It is expected that ATMs will be installed in 15 branches nationwide. In addition, we received a recommendation from the Busan Economic Promotion Agency and moved to the Busan Startup Support Center in Pukyong National University Yongdang Campus to advance into Busan, the special blockchain zone, that we have prepared. After the establishment of the R&D specialized corporation (DPEC KOREA), we are working on digital ATM advancement.

DaFIN will set up DaWinKS ATM in the Korea office on a trial basis according to this agreement. It will operate on its own and allow DAF holders to experience deposit and withdrawal services. In addition, we are preparing to form a pan-Asian digital asset financial network in cooperation with the Singapore-based headquarters foundation, the hub of Asian finance, and decided to push for DaWinKS' digital ATM and POS supply together through this agreement.

Meanwhile, DaFIN, which launched its official service in Korea in February 2021, completed listing on Bittrex following the digital asset fintech service sold out and maintained a stable price, and is currently recruiting for season 2.

In addition, DaWinKS confirmed its global listing on Probit on June 8, and its first IEO has been sold out and the second IEO is under way.
